The firm was founded to address a financing gap identified by Firstime, an experienced venture capital platform that managed multiple VC funds, including a sustainability-focused fund. Through its work with technology-driven companies in these sectors, Firstime identified that many businesses were moving beyond product development into a more capital-intensive phase of commercialization, deployment and scale.
